All employees are subject to enhanced DBS checks and a rigorous recruitment process. Staff benefit from ongoing assessment, observations and training. The dedicated management team listens to staff and build effective working relationships. During the interview process candidates are asked to supply a comprehensive employment record as well as education record, any gaps in employment are explored and identified. All successful candidates must have two work references as well as verbal references on record before they are passed for training.
Beechtree's training is delivered in house by our fully qualified trainer, but all new recruits are subject to a full twelve week induction, which includes:-
All training is evaluated on a regular basis to show effectiveness and updated as required and all carers and support staff are required to attend update training annually, as well as specialist training depending on their client group, such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, MS and MN.
All staff are subject to regular supervisions and yearly appraisals, where training needs and extra support may be identified and rectified.
